STC is one of Sweden's largest gym chains with over 260 locations and a wide range of training options in gym and group training. We agree with WHO, the Public Health Agency, and the government's investigators: we sit still too much. Obesity is increasing and mental health issues like depression are becoming more common. But there is a simple solution that works wonders for both body, heart, and brain – movement! But we need your help!

We are now looking for a Gym Host for a part-time position (50%) at our gym in Tibro. There may also be opportunities to work at the gyms in Hjo and Karlsborg.

Your mission

As a Gym Host, you are our face to the public and work to provide each member with a first-class service experience. Your focus will be on actively driving sales of memberships and our other products, and you will be an important part of our team in creating value for both members and the business. Sales, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment are at the core of your work. You will also ensure that our members follow our rules of conduct to maintain a positive and safe gym environment for everyone. This means you will actively remind and inform members about the rules, manage disruptive behaviors, and possibly help create a safe atmosphere. By being present and accommodating, you contribute to making all members feel welcome and able to train in a positive environment.

Your tasks primarily include:

• Sales of memberships and additional services such as personal training packages, products from our store assortment, as well as any promotions. Also, follow-up via phone, where you call existing members to hear about their experience at the gym and to ask if they want to renew their memberships.

• High-level customer service, where you answer questions both over the phone and directly at the gym, help members solve problems, and ensure they have the best experience.

• Daily operations, which include keeping the premises clean and welcoming, ensuring the equipment is in good condition, and maintaining the gym's overall standard.

The pace of work can vary and quickly change depending on the time of day and the number of members visiting our gym. Since our gyms have flexible staffing and varying working hours, you need to be flexible and able to work irregular hours, including weekends and afternoons/evenings. Our shifts are usually between 3.5-4.5 hours long.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is positive, social, and has a natural ability to create a high level of service in all interactions with our members. You are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment where members feel seen, appreciated, and joyful about training. To succeed in this role, we believe you have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach when it comes to meeting different situations and needs. You are someone who easily adapts to changing circumstances and has the ability to maintain a high pace without compromising the quality of your work. You will primarily work at our gym in Tibro, but since it may also be relevant to work at our gyms in Karlsborg and Hjo, it is essential that you have a driver's license and a car, or alternatively, that you can ensure your availability to work at all three locations based on the business's needs.

The position is a temporary contract for two months, with the possibility of extension. Start immediately.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must have a high level of service

• Strong sense of sales and quality

• Must be flexible and able to work days, evenings, and weekends (evening shifts start at 15:45)

• Must be able to work 50%, according to the schedule we offer

• Must be able to start immediately

• Must be willing to go the extra mile, both for customers and your colleagues

• Must speak and write fluent Swedish

• Must have an interest in training
